Welcome to the
La Cueva Dance Team - Las Ositas Website!
The La Cueva High School Dance Team is a Varsity Level, competitive spirit team whose purpose shall be to perform and entertain audiences through pom and military style dance routines, as well as boost morale and spirit of the school.
The purpose shall also be to develop character, leadership and individual responsibility in each member while maintaining high moral standards. It is the La Cueva Dance Team's purpose to represent La Cueva High School in a manner which will reflect credit upon the school, as well as each member of the team.

Las Ositas are your 2023-24 NMAA State Spirit Runners Up for Dance!
We competed against 21 5A teams at the 2023-24 NMAA State Spirit Championships on April 5 and finished as your State Runner Up in Dance. We are so thrilled with this accomplishment as it has been almost 30 years since Las Ositas has place in State. We're excited that we continue to meet and exceed our goals as a team!!
Las Ositas Place 4th in Military at DTU Nationals!
Our team competed in both the Small Varsity Pom and Varsity Military categories at DTU Nationals in Orlando, FL February 10-11, 2024. We are so proud of this team for bringing home the 4th place trophy for Military as this was our FIRST EVER Nationals Competition!! Can't wait to do it again next year!
